This mixed case consists of a 75cl bottle of each of the following:

Gavi di Gavi 2019, DOCG, Tenuta Olim Bauda

£102 per case of 6

This famous white wine area from Piedmont produces scintillating wines like this from the Cortese grape.  Fresh, with Lemon-zest and peachy flavours and a delightful, harmonious finish.  Apart from with seafood and light cheeses, it's also delicious with a simple roast chicken.

Saumur Blanc 2018, Domaine Langlois-Chȃteau

£72 per case of 6

Langlois-Chȃteau has increased its vineyard holding in the Saumur area and consistently increased the quality of its wines.  This elegant Chenin Blanc is lightly perfumed on the nose and has a thirst quenching hit of citrus fruit, followed by pronounced orchard fruits on the palate.  A great uplifting finish too.  Delicious!

Viré Clessé Les Vechèrres 2018, Florent Rouve

£130 per case of 6

This is a blend of two parcels of vines, both to the north of Viré.  Situated at the top of the slope, the stony soil gives bite and intensity to the wine.  This has all the hallmarks of a fine white burgundy - freshness, harmony and minerality.  Fantastic with cheese.

Ashbourne Pinotage/Cinsault 2018, Hemel-En-Aarde, Walker Bay, South Africa

£84 per case of 6

"It's a tangy, tart, pomegranate and summer berry style with fine tannins and no wood at all.  93 Points."  Tim Atkin, South Africa Report 2018.

Lodai 2015, Tenuta di Fortuna, Maremma, Tuscany

£130 per case of 6

A blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and 10% Sangiovese.  Matured for 12 months in French oak.  Great complexity on the nose with notes of dark berry fruits, cherries, tobacco and spice.  The palate continues with this fruit profile, adding notes of coffee, with good acidity offering elegance and balance on the finish.  Good mature character and reminiscent of a quality red Bordeaux.

Les Amis de la Bouissière 2018, vin de France, Domaine de La Bouissère

£78 per case of 6

This is innovative winemaking from the southern-Rhone valley.  A blend of 80% Syrah and 20% Grenache from the Gigondas appellation and lower-lying vineyards.  Classic winemaking methods used: fermentation for 20 days with daily pump over and matured in concrete vats on its lees to preserve CO2 and minimise the use of sulphites.  No fining or filtration before bottling.  Plenty of spice and freshly crushed dark and red berry fruits on the palate, with excellent acidity, elegance and gently textured tannins.
