Bolney Estate Pinot Noir 2013, Foxhill Vineyard, East Sussex
Bolney Estate has a pretty impressive collection of awards to its name already and it is most satisfying to enjoy a Pinot Noir of such high quality from vineyards in East Sussex.
This silky, thirst quenching red is packed with red berry fruits - cherries, cranberries, loganberries - and is an excellent example of a cooler climate Pinot Noir. It is perhaps closer in style to a Loire Valey Pinot Noir than say a New Zealand example.
An ideal summer red too - serve slightly chilled by putting it in the fridge for 20 mins.7 bottles available - request more
