Montsable Pinot Noir 2019, IGP d'Oc, Languedoc, France
The wines of Montsablé are inspired by the desire to emulate the elegant Burgundian varietals from Southern France. This high quality Pinot Noir comes from the Puisserguier vineyards in the Saint Chinian area of the Languedoc. This stays true to the classic Burgundian-style of Pinot in the Cote d'Or - without the price tag. The nose is aromatic, with fresh cherries, wild strawberries and just the faintest hint of vanilla. They make a cracking Chardonnay for the same price too that is well worth trying. Fantastic value for money.
