Delicious green apple aromas, with aromatic herbs and bright citrus. The palate is complex, with a fine mineral backbone, lifted acidity, appealing stone fruit and a beautifully long, dry finish.
Great as an aperitif. Perfectly paired with fish, shell fishes or the famous local “Crottin de Chavignol” goat cheese.

Benoit and Fabienne Godon-Reverdy’s 12 hectare domaine is based in the village of Verdigny in the heart of the Sancerre vineyards where the Reverdy family have been making wine for over 200 years. Fabienne’s husband, Benoit Godon, has been responsible for the viticulture and wine-making since 2008 and the estate is now firmly established as one of the finest in the appellation.
A unique feature of Sancerre are soils from this appellation that give the wines its distinct mineral character. The clay-limestone soils, combined with flint, tend to produce wines that are lighter in body and have more acidity in contrast to the marl-limestone soils of its neighbour Pouilly Fumé, where the wines tend to have more intensity.
