Adega de Redondo is widely regarded as one of Portugal’s most dynamic and impressive wine cooperatives. Founded in 1956 by just 14 growers determined to revive Alentejo’s winemaking traditions after phylloxera and decades of cereal monoculture, it now brings together around 200 producers. Representing over 75% of the Redondo sub-region, the cooperative is a flagship for authentic Alentejo wines and a proud member of the Alentejo Wines Sustainability Program.
Specialising in bold reds and fresh whites, Adega de Redondo focuses on indigenous grape varieties such as Roupeiro, Fernão Pires, and Arinto. These are grown on a mix of granite, schist, and clay-limestone soils within the Vinho Regional Alentejano zone. In the winery, temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks preserves vibrant fruit character and freshness—hallmarks of their clean, expressive style.
A characterful Branco with an intense aroma of tropical fruit, with a lovely lift of citrus on the palate. Bright, crisp and refreshing, with an elegant structure and harmonious finish.
